The third annual Girls’ Empowerment Mini-Gala returns on Friday, March 6, 2026 at SMS Equipment Place, bringing together 150+ girls from across the Wood Buffalo region, ages 9–15, for an unforgettable evening of connection, confidence-building, and celebration!

The Mini Gala gives Girls Inc. participants a chance to dress up, watch an Indigenous Fashion Show, learn about the fashion industry, engage in empowering activities and discussions while enjoying a 360 photo booth, dance floor, fun, food, and door prizes. 

Please note: Participants must be 9 years old at the time of the event. No exceptions will be made. 
Dress code: 'Dress your Best'. This means however you feel the most confident and comfortable! (Dress, traditional clothes, your favorite outfit!) There is no need to purchase a new dress for this event.
